U.S. Orders
Please refer to the UPS Ground Service Rate Chart for delivery charges within North America. Alaska and Hawaii will be shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air Service. Please contact our Sales Department at 800-421-8161 ext. 4200 for available rush services. UPS does not deliver to a P.O. Box.

International Orders
All international orders are shipped by either UPS, FedEx, U.S. Postal Service, or via an Air Freight Forwarder at your request. For points not served shipments will be sent by U.S. Postal Service, FedEx, or Air Freight Forwarder. GIA Instruments reserves the right to choose the most effective shipping method.

Please contact our Sales Department at 800-421-8161 ext. 4200 for suggested method of shipment and shipping charges. All orders must be paid in U.S. Funds by Wire Transfer, International Money Order, or Bank Draft drawn on a U.S. Bank.

All prices are F.O.B. Carlsbad Warehouse, California and GIA Instruments is not responsible for shipping, insurance, handling, customs house broker fees, VAT, GST, import duties, local taxes, or any other charges related to the shipment and import of merchandise.

Availability
Occasionally not all items are in stock at time of placing an order. We will ship items that are available and will back order items that are not available at the time of shipment.

Claims and Shortages
Claims and shortages must be communicated within ten days of receipt of goods. If you do not receive any items on your order, a letter advising non-receipt must be sent to GIA Instruments Customer Support Department no earlier than fifteen days from the date of invoice.

Prices are F.O.B. Carlsbad Warehouse, California. All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include applicable CA & NY sales tax, shipping, insurance, and handling charges. Prices listed are effective January 1, 2009 and are subject to change.

Some things you may need to know...

Return Policy
Please contact GIA Instruments for a Return Authorization number prior to returning any item. Items returned without a Return Authorization number will be refused.

You may return goods within fifteen days after receipt, along with your purchase invoice. Return insured by UPS, postal service, or freight prepaid to GIA Instruments. Returned goods must be complete in original package and in new condition. We reserve the right to apply a restocking charge. Your payment will be promptly refunded or credited to your credit card account.

GIA Instruments has over 75 years of experience in designing products that need less service and are easier to maintain. However, should you need technical help, professional advice, or repair service of any sort, please contact a Technical Services Team Member toll free at 800-421-8161 ext. 4200. Prior to sending an instrument in for repair make sure to request a Repair Order number. Instruments sent without a Repair Order number will be refused.

• Shipping charges via United Parcel Ground Service (UPS) for points served within the 48 contiguous U.S.
• Shipping charges include insurance and documentation fees.
• UPS does not deliver to P.O. boxes.
• Alaska and Hawaii will be shipped via 2nd Day Air Service at additional cost.
• Shipping quotes are required on orders over $1,500.00, orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, international orders, or rush shipping services. In all other instances, shipping quotes are available upon request. GIA Instruments reserves the right to choose the most effective shipping method.
